Change at the top of gasgroup – Arbeitsgemeinschaft Gas: Working group bids farewell to chairman Alfred Würzinger on his

In mid-November, gasgroup – Arbeitsgemeinschaft Gas held its last members’ meeting in 2019 in Cologne. The meeting was marked by the retirement of the working group’s long-standing chairman Dipl.-Ing. Alfred Würzinger, managing director of Energie- und Wasserversorgung Bünde GmbH, to whom the members officially bid farewell. Mr Würzinger will resign from office upon his retirement at the end of 2019. Peter Krämer, managing director of the municipal utility company Stadtwerke Weinheim and current deputy chairman of the working group, will take over as chairman and continue the work of Alfred Würzinger for the time being.

gasgroup – Arbeitsgemeinschaft Gas is a working group of municipal utility companies from all over Germany, which mainly addresses matters of gas procurement; it is coordinated and advised by BBH and enervis. Alfred Würzinger was elected chairman of gasgroup on 28/02/2013. Prior to that, he had been deputy chairman of Arge WINGAS for more than five years. Arge WINGAS was a working group of municipal WINGAS customers and the precursor of gasgroup.
