Since the beginning of liberalisation in 1998 we have advised our clients in relation to all questions dealing with grid access and its implementation.

The assessment and evaluation of all the contracts necessary for the implementation of grid access are part of our daily work (grid access and connection use contracts, delivery contracts, balancing group agreements and sub-balancing group agreements).

At a very early stage, we developed sample contracts for the implementation ofgrid accesswhich have been used successfully on the market for years and which are being revised frequently according to recent developments in case law, legislation or in the administrative practice of the cartel authorities. In the same manner we have designed sample contracts for the implementation of the new gas grid access model, which was co-developed by BBH.

We advise our clients in relation to the implementation of all sectoral rules (laws and regulations, rulings of the Federal Network Agency, European law requirements, implementation and limits ofthe low-voltage and low-pressure connection regulations,consequences of decisions of courts and cartel authorities) and negotiate contracts with other market participants and represent our clients in judicial proceedings.
