This includes band take-overs, exclusive label and artist contracts as well as marketing agreements, publisher's agreements and merchandising agreements. With our special legal knowledge and experience in the media sector, especially when it comes to music production and licensing, we work for the profit of our clients. We have also gained special competencies in the areas of film producing law (synch rights) and in the area of licensing of ring tones and music downloads. Another focus is the area of royalty collection, especially through royalty collection companies, an area of our work deserving special attention.

In the area of publishing law our clients range from music, book and film publishing companies and include composers of music and authors. We are especially drafting publishing contracts. Furthermore, we focus on the area of new media and the types of usage of this media. Collecting Societies
Among our clients is one of the world’s largest collecting societies. Next to our forensic activities we focus on the intellectual property law and the recognition of intellectual property. We are especially accompanying procedures according to this law before the arbitration board at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (“Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt”). Here, we deal with overall contract procedures as well as with single usage procedures. Our activities include all applicable areas of the intellectual property law, also within the European context.
