Dr. Schäfer has been dealing with compliance issues in utilities for more than 10 years. He is providing expert advice to corporate clients in relation to the development and implementation of compliance tools (in particular: corporate guidelines, workshops) as well as to the developement and establishment of entire compliance management systems. Another long-term focus of his practice has been wholesale energy trading via energy exchanges and the OTC-market, where he is focussing on the documentation of transactions and providing advice in relation to regulatory issues.
