As the year draws to a close, the renowned publishing house C.H.Beck Verlag releases two new books authored and/or edited by BBH partners: While the two editors Theobald/Nill-Theobald published the 15th edition of their “dtv-Gesetzessammlung”, a collection of laws providing the reader with an overview of the most important laws and regulations for the German energy sector, the 4th edition of “Energiehandel in Europa” edited by the duo Zenke/Schäfer focuses on all topics related to energy trading in Europe.
Every year since 2001, BBH partner Prof. Dr. Christian Theobald and Dr. Christiane Nill-Theobald have been collating the most important energy laws and regulations for Germany. While the 1st edition had a modest number of 460 pages, the newly released collection of laws encompasses more than 1,600 pages. It may no longer fit in your briefcase, but the book is all the more relevant for each and every energy-industry stakeholder. With its detailed introduction and chronology of laws and regulations, the book is an important means of orientation for everybody dealing with matters of energy law.
With the 4th edition of “Energiehandel in Europa”, the editors Dr. Ines Zenke and Dr. Ralf Schäfer have updated their standard work of reference on energy trading. The success of the book is directly linked to the multidisciplinary group of authors encompassing traders, business administration specialists, lawyers, representatives of regulatory authorities and scientists all of whom have contributed their own perspective on energy trading, creating a diverse specialist book that has a very practical approach at the same time.
