| Why does AK REGTP exist? |
|
The amendment of the German energy act (EnWG) replaced the negotiated grid access by a regulated access to the electricity and gas grids. Four legal regulations have replaced the former self-obligation of the elecetricity and gas sector: The regulations for electricity grid access, gas grid access, electricity fees and gas fees(StromNZV, StromNEV, GasNZV, GasNEV). The regulation, which is increasing constantly in complexity, forces the distribution grid operators to establish a functioning internal regulation management. This challenge - which our clients face and has turned to us for consultation for - has brought us to founding the working group AK REGTP which serves as a platform for answering questions regarding the legal framework of the energy market, technical and economical matters through a co-operation of our member companies and BBH's interdisciplinary knowledge. |
