What is AK REGTP?

AK REGTP (Arbeitskreis Regulierung Elektrizität Gas Telekommunikation Post) is a working group dealing with all matters regarding the German regulation authority "Bundesnetzagentur" (former "REGTP") for electricity, gas, telecommunications and post. It is a platform for communication between its members and towards the regulation authorities as well as the legislator.

Why does AK REGTP exist?

The amendment of the German energy act (EnWG) replaced the negotiated grid access by a regulated access to the electricity and gas grids. Four legal regulations have replaced the former self-obligation of the elecetricity and gas sector: The regulations for electricity grid access, gas grid access, electricity fees and gas fees(StromNZV, StromNEV, GasNZV, GasNEV).

What does AK REGTP do?

AK REGTP offers support in the establishment of a regulation management for energy supply companies. Should you decide to become a member you will benefit from the knowledge retrieved together, which is the achievement of the interdisciplinary co-operation of our highly specialised experts at BBH and the exchange between the AK REGTP members during our meetings taking place at regular intervals four times a year. We summarise the results for our members and put them at your disposition in the member's area on this website.
